A wonderful tender Christmas story packed with a family theme. I am so sorry about the MS, will send prayers your way. As a writer, I know when we edit we see what we know is supposed to be in place, sometimes not what is on the paper. I think if you re- read this you will find several punctuation errors, mostly omitted commas. I won't insult you by listing them. I do that all the time when I write, I omit commas or words. I don't mean any offense, we are here to help each other, right?
Blessings,
Brigitte

Thank you for the nice review and the helpful words also. You do not offend me. I know I am not the best at punctuation. I am glad for the memories you brought up for me as I read what you reviewed. It had been a while since I wrote this! Thank you so much! Blessings, Teri

Teri,
What a sweet and sentimental telling of Christmas memories. I'm like you - I don't understand where the years have gone - yet I look at my children and see that they are growing up (Or they're already GROWN UP!) YIKES!
A good write.

A very well-written piece nice flow makes for a very good read. This time of year can bring back so many good memories
and as we get older the memories get sweeter.
You set an example that I would like to follow, but I lack your faith and courage.
I would venture to say you are one of my heroes.
Good job and good luck in the contest

Teri, so good to get to spend time with your grandson. Sometimes our
plans change as our children get older and loved ones pass away. It can
still be wonderful if we just realize it. I hope you do have a Merry
Christmas and your MS doesn't bother you too much.

Teri,
I'm happy to know that you will be at home with your family.
It's always better when there are young ones to open presents
and be so delighted.
I liked hearing about how your Christmas was celebrated in
the past. Time does have a way of changing things. I hope
you have a very blessed Christmas.

Teri, I enjoyed your story and I can relate to it. We used to go to Fl. every year for Christmas, but because of my daughter's cerebral palsy we don't go anymore. We take care of her and we are getting older and unable to make the long trip with her. Your story is written very well and from the heart, You are right Jesus, didn't make you have MS, just like he didn't make my daughter have C P. Everything happens for a reason and some day we will know the reason. Your story is a little sad and at the same time you have happy memories. Good writing and good luck in the contest. Lani2

We holidayed in Pennsylvania in the summer of 2014, Teri, visiting all the civil war and war of independence sites, their and in Virginia, beautiful country. This is a poignant, reflective work my friend, wondering were the years have gone. Also People think we should automatically hate God, if we have an affliction or things are going badly, why this? is I'm not sure, I enjoyed this lovely trip Teri, enjoy your Christmas with son,and family, may there be many more, well done, blessings, Roy
