CONGRATULATIONS on your well deserved win. This presentation is awesome--the artwork, the format of lines, the message, the use of the sonnet format, and the color scheme. I enjoyed reading it. It is very thought-provoking.
Excellent!

Wow, Jan, you are so kind. You didn't wait until we all got a new batch of sixers just to review this, did you? I'm humbled, J. You made my night. I actually wrote this one to the picture. Once I came across it I knew I just had to use it, lol. I just thought it was odd how the artist just made the steps end into nothing. I've never seen anyone go that route with a picture of stairs before. I dearly appreciate the gracious rating and kind words, Jan. I'm glad you liked the piece. Thank you again. Have a wonderful Sunday.

Ron, this is the work of amazing depth and quality. Congratulations on a richly deserved win. As a sonnet, this is flawless and flows like silk. The artwork is amazing. That animated stairway to heaven.
I loved how the poem has the shape of a stairway. Awesome, Ron!
Each passing day so quickly nears the end.
Neath doubt I often fear what might await.
Doth Heaven's stairway readily ascend
Into an endless paradise of fate?
One of your best.

What an amazing picture, Ron! And you've written an equally amazing poem to go with it. Congratulations on your First Place win in the acrostic contest! (While I thought I was being so creative writing an acrostic sonnet, you were busi!y doing the very same thing, only better. Lol There must be something in the air!) You deserved the top prize and I wish I'd seen this wonderful poem while I still had sixes to give. Congratulations again!

Thank you so much for the fantastic review and the big six offer, Adonna. I thought that was awesome, someone else writing an acrostic sonnet. Not many people can pull that off correctly without it sounding forced. I was about to head over and drop a sixer on your piece as well, so I'll save the rest for that, lol. This piece was actually inspired by the picture this time. I just had to use it. I dearly appreciate the gracious stars and congrats, A. I'm glad you liked the piece. Thank you again.

This has the feel, like the accompanying artwork, not of ending so much as "never ending." It's practical impossibility - it has no risers, only treads without support - is redolent of Escher's drawings of impossible structures.
The sonnet is perfectly structured, proving beyond doubt that you don't have to have a "but" to have a Volta at line nine.

Thank you for the great review, Panty. I really appreciate the generous stars, friend. Lol, yes, I guess it could be compared to Escher's drawing. I'm glad that you caught the turn even without the 'but.' I'm glad you liked the piece, P. Thank you again.
