All of these struck a chord with me and have more than a grain of truth! The title is a great reflection of how conditioned our society is to respond to consumerism. I chuckled as I nodded in agreement with each sarcastic sentiment. Good job.

This collection of 5-7-5 are cuttingly amusing. There's a dark cloud of simmering disgust just under the smooth shiny surface of a smile that in a room of advertisers, it'd be an awkward set of laughs to hear.
I don't know what you mean about milk being for baby cows... how would a baby cow be able to buy a carton of milk from the store anyhow... that's just silly. ; )
The paleo diet, one... I could just see hear the voice of a spokesperson voice saying the first two lines... then getting a prompting in his ear mic... that he relooks at the camera with quite an expression in saying the last. It's a toss up on being my favorite in the set between that image, and the kids brand names.
Kids are soooo mean. I was listening on the radio on how a grade schooler was being harassed by classmates because he didn't have his own cellphone plan... Just the 'family plan'.... meaning the kid had a freaking cell phone, but because he was on his family's plan, that somehow wasn't good enough. WTF? So the brand thing connected with me, with the kids.

Thanks, Turtle, for the great review. You always seem to get my stuff, even when others don't. I'm not sure if that means you have reason to be concerned! I only get to give two reviewer votes each week (I think) and this week you've got both of mine. Thanks for taking the time and the effort to do a great job.
Craig.

Wow! This is quite an intense social commentary! Laugh or cry - it's right in your face, as it should be! It reminds me of John Oliver - true, shouldn't be ignored and funny in a heartbreaking way! Perfect for this contest - and it would be great on gigantic posters all over!

All your Twisted Adverting Takes are interesting, thought provoking and entertaining. I enjoyed reading them and they held my interest. There is truth in them all and I like them all equally, because they all have something important to say.

Thanks Michael, for the cool and generous review! To be honest, I only decided to grab the last spot a couple of hours before the deadline; mostly because I saw the other people who would be entering and thought maybe some of the talent might rub off ;-) All the best, Craig.

Looks like it worked! You have a good chance.

Hahahahaha! What a great take on the title, Bye-Bye, Baby, Craig. That's very clever. Clever too are your twisted but (not too twisted) adverts, featuring everything from cell phones to kid's clothes--and my favorite of all--the undertaker ad for smoking parents. Hey, the family that smokes together, chokes together, heh-heh. Yes, I know, it was the most twisted of all, but that's why I liked it the best.
Good luck in the contest, buddy. I'll see you at the finish line...

I doubt very seriously that will happen, Craig.

For shame on whomever takes pictures of smoking children! You are sure to cause a stir with this one. Blatant twisted consumerism at work. I am sure you will be unique and thus should earn a lot of votes. Wishing you the very best of luck! :)

Each one of your 5/7/5s carries great truth. They show how stupid the consumer is to be swayed by advertising. We have become a consumer society, manipulated by the media.
God help us during the next presidential election.
Best of luck in the contest. I especially like the one about the cell phone. It should be on TV. I'd say on a billboard, but people would take too long to read it.--and crash and burn.

LOL. I always love your twisted sense of humor... which isn't really 'funny' at all...
but pokes BACK at the companies and consumers in charge... the ones who started it all... it's like... well, you started it.
Wow... these really make you go... yikes.
Especially that smoking one... that one is difficult to see.
Good luck in the contest,
Always a pleasure
