Why I Divorced a Writer
Ha,ha,ha,.... clever puny poem. Good use of poetry vocabulary and his annoying writer's repertoire. Good job!

Cute and funny. Gave me a smile. Nothing like a "busman's holiday" to bring amusement. I think you did a good job with contest entry.

Poor guy and he probably could help himself. This is a funny and clever poem using some BIG words coming to journalism. Actually, with a smooth lover, words don't matter.LOl

It certainly meets the contest requirements. Poor Will never had a chance for romance. Great use of so MANY writing tools. I wish you all the best in the voting (sorry Ron, but I do wish him the best LOL) and thank you very much for sharing it.

This is very punny and also funny :) I never would have used those words as you have, but I applaud you for making it all seem so natural. I think a divorce was the write thing to do lol! Good luck in this contest. I think you have a strong contender here!

This is a fun poem even though non of this is auto biographical . . . really. My father married and divorced a writer, so I found your poem resonated with me. I love your play on words and double entendres. Your choice of words are suggestive and open to the most lurid interpretation. Yes, that writer is so full of himself. Thank you for sharing.

Yes he certainly is full of himself ... whoever he is...
Fortunately, my wife pays no attention to me anymore. It's for the best. :)
Glad you enjoyed. Thank you so much.

Okay, Mikey. Is this true, or is it purely conjecture and speculation?
Okay, okay...I realize it's merely humor and not autobiographical in any way. After all, you're married to a woman (at least as far as we all know), and while it is now possible in many states to enter into a legal, binding same sex marriage these days, including the Great State of California, I understand that this is merely written tongue-in-cheek...so to speak.
Good luck in the contest. ~Dean ;}

Total fiction. I have no idea who sat at my screen and wrote this nonsense or even what it means. Thanks for the marriage tips thought ... not that I need them of course ... friends, that's it, I have friends ........

This is an excellent poem entry for the contest - How Punny R U. I am so annoyed that I have no 6 left to give you. It is by far the best I've read yet. Very clever and both I and my husband laughed. Excellent. Good luck in the contest. Warm regards Dorothy x

This is all very punny. What can I say, you really know how to give words a double meaning.
Best of luck in the contest, mystery poet.
