This was an uplifting poem sprinkled with al kinds of goodies: Fantastic imagery
alliteration. A nice cadence and flowing rhyme. It was a feel-good read. Where did you find the animated artwork? And how did you download it?

Thanks so much. I'm keeping my replies short to try and catch up a little. My apologies.

This is a lovely poem, Dawn. I especially like the first stanza:
Perhaps I'm not wealthy; let's face it - I'm broke.
I've several aches; a most strangling yoke.
But life is so rich with the blessings of God -
His miracles daily - in Him I'm so awed!
Your imagery is strong in this. Take care, my friend~Debbie

LOVED the WHOLE POEM! This was an enjoyable read from beginning to end. Loved the part about the cat...and the neighbors. They need to SMILE. You have a wonderful gift. I thought the last line of this poem is so very true, God did such a wonderful job when He made this earth and everything on it. Kat :)

WOW. What an amazing review! I am completely humbled. Thank you!!! (And how in the world did you hold onto a six until this late in the week? Mine are usually gone by Sunday night - Monday at the latest, unless I've been off the site - thank you again!)

Another beautiful poem telling of blessings that many each day take for grant-it. The little things in life that we often over look as a blessing. I love the outlook on life in this poem, and just wish more people would realize the little things are blessings in life, as well as the big things.

Oh so many beautiful sights and sounds, Dawn. Each stanza has a new surprise. I can see why you don't like reading violence when you have these lovely images flowing through your mind.
I especially like these, most of which have sound:
'He shows me the birth of a small, baby bird;
a toddler saying her very first word. '
'In winter the snowdrifts wear diamonds like Kings,
while swift birds of prey spread their glorious wings'
'... , black velvet to welcome the moon ... the hoot of the owl, and the fence-sitting throng.'
'My feline enjoys that loud cat serenade,
(but she is a housecat, and she has been spayed)! ' Here you show us your sense of humor.

A good poem that really captures what is really important. The rhymes were great, and they really speak of all that we should appreciate in our day to day lives. The video and the pic really work well with this, Dawn. Good stuff.

Wow! So these areca few of your favorite things,eh? To me, this is song worthy. Martina McBride should sing it. I actually thought the piem I reviewed previously was song worthy as well!
I'm sorry I've stayed away so long. What a gift!
