lol, oh we must have been separated at birth...
you are an interesting man, Mikey...
indeed, you worked your way right down to the bottom of that page... and took me with you. And I am happy to be here.
sweet dreams. ;)

Hi mikey,
I think that you did a great job filing up the page. A little different from the wonderful stories that you normally write. But, a great job nevertheles. A blank page ready for our imagination to run amuck. We write because it is what burns inside us. Do we really care what people think?. Deep down we all want to be accepted rather for our writings or just ourselves

Very interesting epistle on your creative process! I must try your method of inspiration the next time I sit down to write. You always write so vividly--you're right. it doesn't matter what anyone thinks as long as you are pleased with that full page. Thanks! Caroline

It matters not/ the page is full - seemingly haughty, but really the appropriate response. A poet's/writer's calling is to fill the page, not to simply "consider the stars" or write to audience, to appease. The trip was made, the page is full and that is all that matters.

Everyone is all bunched together within a few points of each other. So you can jump forward or backward with a few reviews. I go up and down on the reviewer list depending on if I review that day. Which reminds me ... I've got to catch up!! See ya soon. mikey

Hi Michael :)
I approve..... I'm not peeved.... your page is full and I enjoyed reading it!
I like that, given the permission to use whistles and bells in this contest, you chose to keep it simple - a really classic presentation.
I love the imaginativeness in the penultimate part - nice use of alliteration here also.
Really nice!
Good luck in the voting booth.
Kindest regards, Debra

Interesting reflection on how to fill a page. I just take a bus ride and get my notebook out and hey presto I have three verses, that is what happened to me the other day. It is not my current posting about my 'winter's walk'-that's another tale! Good use of descriptive and alliterative language and well chosen imagery and words to convey your thoughts. Good luck in the contest. Faye

That is exactly how a writer must feel. Fill up the pages with your words, your thoughts, you. Who cares what the audience thinks... let them fill their own page.
Excellent.

Well, Mikey. This eloquently worded, alliteration laden little piece of bucolic expression certainly makes a strong statement. When all is said and done, if we -- as the artists who created the piece, a piece born from our hearts and imaginations -- are happy with what we've created, it matters little if anyone else is. Frankenstein was happy with his monster too...at first, heh-heh...
Well done, and best of luck~ ~Dean

Hi Mike,
content that requires a reader to read on with anticipation as to where we're traveling within this 'glorious gavotte'... an interesting and creative way to fill your page... journey taken... mission completed Major Mike... one approves!
