This is a wonderful tribute to Maureen and the ideal of light and hope she is to so many of us. It brought tears to my eyes.
I love the imagery you create in the lines:
The voltage from our million flames
could not compete with the light you give

I am painting, gardening, raising dairy goats and learning to play the piano!! I missed writing and have decided to give it a go again!! I am a bit rusty though. It may take me a bit to get re -acclimated.
