I do like abstract art - in doses. I think when an abstract piece can capture the essence of something, it is magnificent. However, when it is in Love with itself , the idea like canvases all one color- theory only. And painful to the eyes.

I like some. I have a friend who does some awesome work. But when it looks like it might have been done by my grandchild, it's lost on me.

Well done Dallas! This is a crazy prompt combining two of my least favorite forms of poetry, But, you did it justice. Love how you brought in so many multi-syllable words LOL! Good luck in the contest. Sue

Love your acrostic mixed with haiku poem that you entered into this prompt. I like the line audacious abstracts, as that is art. Best of luck.

Clever contest entry, Dallas. I think you did a fine job with the twist. I've been to more than a few art galleries where folks wander through the modern art section and you just know they're thinking 'my kid could do that'. Anyway, that's my take on it. Good luck!

Well, this is certainly a new combination--a 5-7-5 acrostic. You managed the form well with another of your observations, and you even added alliteration. Good job! Best wishes in the contest- Joan
