Now that's a cute acrostic five seven five. Wish I didn't relate to it, but just had that happen to me not too long ago. Best of luck in the contest.

Oh, I hate when this happens--should it occur sprinkle some salt on top of the gooey mess--it wipes up quickly and pretty darn well;
A well-penned poem--a fun tribute to eggs--a pleasure to read.

There is nothing harder to clean up than a broken egg.

You have the right syllable count and the acrostic is about the egg. Great job.

To GWHARGIS,
Quite the disturbing way to enter into the kitchen without knowing and slip and fall on your torso because of it.
Messy but yummy for the pets.

Your poem is in excellent 5/7/5 syllable count
it is also a solid acrostic for egg
