Wow! This is really scary. Parents beware! I liked its rhyme and rhythm. I liked the description of the monster hiding and listening to the bedtime stories and songs. It's very well written.

Very well written with no need for gore as it scary enough and can stand on its own. Great rhyming and flow as well. Last stanza is eerie which makes this poem so good.

Oh, wow, this is nice and spooky. I like that you wrote it from the monsters point of view. Please don't ever read this to young children, lol. Very well written. Hugs, Lou

What a terrible horror story in a poem, well it must be true, all the stories I was told as a little boy, fortunately for me it never happened to me! Well written articulate and cleverly composed, I loved it, what a nasty little, piece, well done, good luck. Blessings, Roy.

This was eerie but definitely clever. There is nothing more frightening than anticipating a child being abducted, even if by the boogey man, or maybe I should say, especially. good luck in the contest.

I held my breath throughout this poem. Very well written. The rhyming scheme added to the telling of this awful tale. This is a worthy contender for this contest. Best of Luck.

I love the poem. I love the eye. The boogie man does exist. You should have looked better when you searched the closet and under the bed. The boogie man was there, waiting until you were gone. He then steals your children and skins them. Great work. You make everyone afraid. Good luck in the contest.

I generally would not read this kind of poem. Did for the contest voting. Passed the others rather quickly. Yuk...this one however held my attention as it is very well written and didn't make me want to barf. Good for you.

Man, what an awesome scary poem. It flowed well and told a very terrifying tale of a really evil man.
It makes me want to search every inch of my children's rooms and the whole house before I go to bed.
I can't help but vote for this one. It deserves recognition and first prize.
