I love the picture. I love the poem. Sometimes I hate the word,' straight'. People use the word to supposedly brag on them selves, but they are using this word to others down. One person announces he is a straight Republican. They are talking to Democrats. One person announces they are a straight square shooter. He is talking to someone he thinks is lying. One person announces they believe in straight sex only. They are talking to bi-sexual or homosexual people. we all strive for straight. But very few paths of life are straight. Great work. Good luck with the contest.

An interesting interpretation and a well-done piece. I do feel it perpetuates the old cliches, though. Time to stop with the hate interpretation to every word uttered. Gay or straight--just words--can't take offense at everything.

I think the words written here are possibly meaning much more than one takes in at first glance. It is picture perfect as well and I, personally, wish I had a 6 left...but I don't...so I hand you a virtual one - Dinah
