The pristine white snowy silver ground.
A boon and a paradise for the gondolas of skiers. Meandering and flying swiftly over the mountain slopes.
Great sporting event and such a thrill and excitement for the skiers and their friends and families.
Great write and excellent imagery of the snow covered mountains enticing all of us in winter.
Lots of luck to the contest.
Cheerio, plenty of hugs and luv, Ritchie. :))

I didn't win this contest, but I 'finally' did win my very first one last week. Thanks for reading and enjoying this Tableau. I enjoy learning new forms. Have a wonderful day. It's 12:15 am here. Plenty of hugs right back to you (squeeeeeeeze) Love, Carolyn

My dearest Carolyn,
I do believe you can win more contests than anyone here that i know of if you keep up with your zest, LOL.
You have this flair to touch our hearts and minds with what you have to say in plain layman terms and conditions about what life should be and can be, smiles.
I do try to read all your works if time permits and I am sleeping less hours, trying to keep up.
A gentle squeeze to you and stay healthy cos we want more great writings form you.
I do hope Faith is still around to inspire your write about children's behavior and attitude.
You should start a book on Children about "Growing up in Faith" (catchy title as my compliments). It will be a good autobiographical book to give to Faith on her 18th Birthday. What say you? I can contribute a few poems about children for your book - all free of charge of course and maybe part of the proceeds can go to a children's foundation of your choice, smiles. See, i am always up and running into something exciting. Our triplet poem, co-written by three poets in rhyming quatrains will be posted soon so stay tuned how three poets can write a poem of diverse implications and meanings, LOL.
Excellent write and well penned. Well done.
Cheerio, Ritchie. :))

Hi there my dear friend, Are you and Sagnik going to be my promotional agents? Now all I need is a financier and unlimited time to write. LOL Love, Carolyn

Beautiful words that bring images to mind of wonderful
pleasure filled times in the snow filled mountains. I love
the very thought of it now. It seems to be a well written piece that has taken me to another place, even for a moment.

You have effectively painted a picture with your words.
I like: Majestic mountains
Rise in distant view
Shimmers of silver
On new fallen snow

somehow I missed this one, but I do wish you luck. You have this reader imagining a snowy mountain top, riding to the top on the chairlift...and with my luck...falling at the top.
well done,
thank you

This is an interesting poem to read, it gave me a chance to find out about this form, which I wasn't familiar with, after reading the description of the Tableau, I think you fit the prompt with the requirements of beats and lines, and this poem definitely 'painted' a well defined 'picture,' nice imagery, nice read, good luck in the contest.

Grand verse, reader always loves seeing the mountains from a distance...at first like clouds on the horizon, as one drives closer across the plains. Slowly growing higher, with the peaks becoming clear... some with snow others bare, all giants against the sky.

This tableau poem paints a vivid picture in words of a mountainscape of snow-covered mountains awaiting skiers. Nice subtle alliteration in lines 1 and 3. Good luck to you in the contest, Jeanie Mercer

This poem does what it says on the tin.... paints a lovely picture of a mountain ski resort. Good luck in the writing contest with this offering.

Mountains in general is always a spectacular site, but when you have mountains covered with snow, it becomes a winter wonderland. Thank you for sharing.
