Loved this dialogue banter and to think the picture inspired it. Excellent writing in so many ways, I would end up writing an essay on it. Siffice to say, John, I think you 'rocked' with this piece. Well done.

What a terrific photo of Ryder and the guitar that is bigger than he is; kids have their own way of doing things and he certainly knows what he wanted - never did see Mickey Mouse play a guitar, you? I liked your little script that makes life worthwhile - simple and cute.

I think I do remember a ukulele? Watched the show every day as a youngster. Annette Funicello died a while ago.

He's my grandson, a smart laddie. You'd be amazed what a six month old knows today. Hahaha.
Thanks for the review Joe, always appreciated.

I love Ryder stories, John, you must love these little guys so much. For this was a completely believable story, I had to transcend a bit but it was adorable. Your sentences are getting stronger and stronger.

Hi! This is irresistibly cute. I love the dialogue with Ryder. The little guy sure knows his guitarists. Love the way he describes them. It's cute when he asks, "How'my doin so far?" It sounds right that he would want to play the guitar like Mickey Mouse. Excellent job. judiverse

judiverse, thank you for your time. With a sister two years old, he is subjected to Mickey Mouse quite often (nothing wrong there). Thanks again, John

Mickey Mouse does make an impression. You're so welcome, John. Cute story. judi

Hi John,
What a fabulous picture of Ryder. You never know, in years from now you might have a Jimi Hendrix in the family. The dialogue and conversation you used worked well with the picture.

Thank you, Rosalyne, for your time to review this. Only time will tell what Mr. Ryder will do, but in the meantime, he has to try it all (when he's older of course). John

ROCK ON, RYDER!!
Very cute story, John, and I love that he wants to play riffs like Mickey Mouse instead of Jimmy Page. The picture is adorable .just one direct address that needs a comma...
Is that so(,) young man?
Smiles,
Karyn : )

Thank you April. He is adorable. But what Grandfather wouldn't say that, right? I don't foresee any guitar lessons in the near future... maybe soccer?
Thanks again, John
