Very nicely written. Yes, every nation needs a champion. The horse was female as well as the jockey, since the shirt is pink with polka dots. Very well-written. God loves you and I do too.

I love horses too but when my husband could no longer go hunting we had to sell them. They eat 24/7 weather they are ridden or not. You have written a fine poem and one I enjoyed reading. I love the name Black Caviar. Well done....blessings, chey

Hi Chey, Horses are in our blood - they do eat all day and don't pay their way! Except Black Caviar brought 8 million dollars in for her owners. Now, she awaits her foal. Love, Kay.

Watching horse-racing here, it seems that the faster they go, the harder the jockeys crack their whip.
There is nothing to suggest changing and I thank you for sharing this with us.

Jimi, Thank you for reading. I love horses and they have been a big part of my life. The owners of Black Caviar shocked the racing world by retiring her, at least they loved her enough to look after her welfare - some owners are greedy. Bless you, Kace.
