This poem is full of honest statements and questions.
This poem is definitely inspirational, especially in the first three stanzas.
Favorite lines:
I co-exist with God, I know,
in truth I'm really free
Interesting update on saying 'yacht' instead of an ordinary boat. We are all mostly so much more prosperous than people were in Biblical times, even if most of us don't have a yacht.

I do believe when we question something we can ask God for guidance, and He'll give it to us. We do need to be willing to listen to His answer. Oh yea, be willing to wait for Him to answer, that's where I often mess up. LOL Thank you for sharing these ponderings with us.

Children instinctively trust, until their trust is "betrayed sometimes and soiled". If only we could remain as children as we become adults.
Thanks for sharing, Roy.

Roy,
Another great poem. You speak of trust and sometimes that is hard for a lot of people to grasp. I like the line, "yet sealed by God's degree." That is a powerful line.
Great job.

I used to be the kind of person who would be devastated if things didn't turn out like I hoped. Then I started looking at it differently. There was a good reason it happened. There was something else God had in mind for me. Saves a lot of grief and second guessing. Trust is a learned thing. Gretchen

Hi Roy,
Certainly a choice worth contemplating.
Although at times our lives do appear as a strange reality from which we seem detached somehow a path is forged.
Somehow I feel our lives will always unfold just as God had planned.
Blessings

It seems that God knows what we are capable of and yet he loves us anyway. God lives outside of space and time. He can watch the play like a really bad re-run.

I like the idea of co-existing with God, though still having the choice to go our own way knowing we are being looked after, is there a beginning or end to reality? very well written****kahpot

It's a great example that the Lord gave us when He took a little child in His arms and told us that we need to approach God just like a trusting child and then we can be free indeed and need not worry about what we don't understand.
