She started when she was really young and has enjoyed it so much. She's on a traveling team. They won a championship last weekend.

Athletics are a big part of my extended family too; but we come from short stock, so none of us played basketball, nor some, football.

It's been fun seeing all the activities the girls are involved in...Keyanna and her team traveled to Wilmington and won another soccer tournament which had college scouts there. She's a ways away from that but they did come and talk to her and complemented her on her talent.

Oh yes, my younger daughters was a powerhouse in netball and cricket, I guess she gets it from me, I played competitive sport until I retired at 41, but played table tennis at a high level into my fifties. My eight year old grandson shows real promise at soccer and cricket, it's so good to be active, well done , go Keyanna, blessings Roy

Wow! That's awesome, Roy. I liked baseball and swimming when I was younger, but in my 40's I was starting a new business and working 16-18 hour days. No time for sports. Thanks for the review.

She lives in North Carolina and is on a traveling league. She plays other sports but her love is soccer. She's not afraid of those bigger girls at all. Thanks so much.
