Curiosity, what a great subject, you have formed these eight syllables wonderfully, such short work is hard to pull off, you have succeeded, very well written, best wishes for your contest****kahpot

Rick,
This is a great 2-4-2 poem. It's short and sweet and gets right to the point. You are a talented man, not only can you write, but you are a poet too. Love it.

Thank you, never wrote anything before other than medical records. Detail and accuracy were critical as patients lives depend on this as much as your surgical skills, medical skills etc. Have to say I was very good and in demand. Practiced at one of the largest practices in the world. Famous stars in TV, Hollywood, musicians waited just to see me. Had to retire due to medical issues, those skills followed me to writing.

You're welcome. Your skills as a vet have carried over. I think vets are better doctors than people doctors. Your patients can't talk, so you really have to know your stuff.

This beautifully penned poem seems to have multiple interpretations. Though it appears to be intended for curiosity in the negative sense, it could also be positively applied. Like the Bible says, he who searches, finds. Curiosity also being the mother of inventions. Well done, dear Rick. Good luck in the contest.

Short and sweet, it makes the mind think. What is next? What could be next? What adventures await you in a world full of wonder? Leaving it up to the reader's imagination.

Good fit to these tight syllabic requirements -- tough thing that it is. :-) And good intrigue to spark the reader's curiosity... Thanx for sharing and best of luck! ;)
