Ciao mystery poet, you have your first vote.
Yes life is full of bumps but they were manageable and once resolved people enjoyed peaceful periods.
Today life has just become an ongoing struggle.
Due to our leaders disastrous choices, paying the mortgage, the monthly bills even just putting food on the table has become a struggle.
Our leaders killed the American dream.
Inflation and climate change are things that we can't resolve
Our leaders need to start making better choices , start thinking what's best for their people.
The war in Ukraine has made petrol and gas skyrocket ,
All those billions sent to Ukraine are needed in America.
The open border policy in the last 4 years under Biden has crippled the healthcare and education system.
Eleven million illegals entered , ( criminals, pedophiles, terrorists among them)
Our leaders must make better choices ... or people's lives will continue to be just an ongoing struggle .

The sentiment here is poignant as we can either see the positives or negatives in life and the light relief of laughter teaches us to concentrate on the good things. I think many will identify with these words and age has a double edged sword, it is a pain and also a pleasure, never give up, love Dolly x

This poem, Endless Pain Is It True?, seems to allow that pain is unavoidable and everywhere. The best and probably only solution is to make a friend of it, and make the pain a gain.
