Being able to travel back in time to spend an hour with someone I love would be beyond wonderful. I'd have to go at least once a day. thank's Dollu.

Appreciate the review, Marilyn and all your kindness. I am sure we all have things we wish we could have done differently. Thanks for your thoughtful comments.

Love that sub heading -'The sands of time change' and do we ever really know what Fate has in store for us - an interesting setting 'time travelling chambers' well done

Hello, Zanya! As they say, Fate is fickle and changes all the time. We don't know how things would be if we had followed one of the "What ifs" and sometimes that's for the better. Though going back in time to visit with a loved one would be awesome.

This is an interesting premise that two people who do not know each other enter their one-hour trip into time. Interestingly enough, they become intertwined. That's an interesting story concept. I did enjoy the read.

When its fiction you can imagine anything and make it come true. LOL It would be nice to be able to travel back and visit someone for an hour though. Thank you so much for the review.

I've always been a sucker with anything about time travel or warps, always imagining growing up that it might be possible. I mean, who knows, right?
Thanks for sharing.

I don't that it will happen in my life time but I think it would be awesome to return in time to see someone you can't see now. Or to change the what ifs.....to zig when you should have zagged. Thanks so much for being so generous.

A clever story, Carol. An imaginative way for a couple to meet - and it sounds like it was meant to be. Time travel? Meeting again when both need a cab? Absolutely, it sounds like a "meant to be". Well writen, of course.

Guess I went a little futuristic or stretched the imagination, but it was a fun way to write a love story. Thanks for enjoying it.

So original! This story is screaming to be published, Carol...
Ten thousand possibilities within the text...fate will persist, should we not heed it the first time!
Oh, my.
Love this!

Yes, I too can imagine how many different ways this story could go and how the endings would play out so differently - some happy and some not so happy, but always leaving us with the thought of "should things be left in the past" or can we search out the "What ifs?"

Hmmm. Years (decades!) ago, I had a brief moment of indecision and walked away. I think many of who are happy with our lives, still have moments when we wonder, "What if I signed when I should have zagged?" You tapped into that, for me!

How very creative, my friend! A time traveling love story!
I enjoyed your characters immensely! They were realistic in an unrealistic environment.
Good job!

A futuristic flash fiction with a twist. I like the fact that in your story that fate still rules. Actually, God is in charge and no matter how much we want to go back to the past, you cannot go home. God rules the future as well as the past.

Yes, He does and the roadway is already paved and we just don't always know it. But it was fun to play with the idea of what technology (which can be dangerous as well as helpful) could possibly do.

This is a great little story, a perfect romance. Have you ever read Women's World on the supermarket newsstands. They buy stories like this, their info is in the mag and on the internet, and they pay really well. The word length is the hardest problem for this magazine for me.
