Wonderful imagery from your words... I would suggest, perhaps, using much less or no 'end line' punctuation in such a short form - especially that final period as it is obviously the end - as the excessiveness detracts from the beauty of the form itself. :-) Thanx so much for sharing today and best of luck to you in the competition! ;)

Thank you so much! As a former teacher, September was always my "new year" rather than January, I love the weather and the fresh start.

This 5-7-5 has the absolutely correct number of syllables. It points out that the new season also has new colors. I like your choice of illustration, too.

I agree! I love September but I am probably partial because that's my birthday month too. But I do love the vivid colors of falling leaves and the soft breezes that sweep away the summer heat. Well done.
