"You" is incredibly deep and meaningful to the birth of your girls, Jess!
No other writing is better than what is peened from the depths of a mother's heart to her children.
I loved it! Best, JohnC

This is such a sweet posting about what your girls have meant to you, Jess. Having kids gives such meaning to life, adding such a wonderful dimension to it, that I feel sorry for people who never have any and can't know that feeling that comes from being a parent.
This was a wonderful reminder of the joy that they can bring. It may not always seem that way, as there will inevitably be some problems, but working through those together is part of the experience. I'm sure you are a terrific mother, and your kids appreciate you. - Jim

What a wonderful poem for your daughters. The photo is beautiful and is perfect to illustrate the descriptive and glorious words expressing the feelings of a mother for her children. It touched my heart. The poem is so simple, but packs a powerful emotional punch, so delicate and tender with strength. I love it! Bravo!

Absolutely beautiful! This expresses perfectly the very real sense of fulfilment brought by motherhood. I enjoyed the reversal of the norm, in that here the babe made the mother who she is. I also love the metaphors, and the very lyrical expression of your thoughts eg "you made a rattle of the moon and shook the earth with your tiny hand" Very vivid and expressive.

OMGosh, Virtual ten at least. Jess this is beautiful and the girls must have loved it.
I know how you love those two like there is no tomorrow and is just another quality I love about you and something we have in common. Thank you for mesmerizing me with this beautiful and heartfelt post, and I bet the girls just beam every time they see one from their wonderful mom.
I wanted to save this for Sunday, but I know you will keep dazzling us with more, so it isn't as if I couldn't give you all my sixes and more every week. I will be back for your next beauty. This was just precious. I loved it and love you, my sweet Jess. Love, Debi

Hi Jessica!
This is absolutely beautiful, in message and execution. My favorite line is making a rattle of the moon. I am sure the new mama in our family shares your sentiment with our little Evelyn Grace.
Thank you for sharing.

This is a beautiful free verse full of a mother's love, expressed with stunning imagery in each well worded stanza.
They do change us don't they. And aren't we lucky.

I don't think love truly awakened me until I saw my elder child, with the perfect beauty that only a newborn baby possesses, before her birth, I was indifferent to children, God brought to life the love that only a parent can experience. Beautifully written Jessica, blessings Roy
