I am happy to congratulate you on your April Artist award! I can see, indeed, why you have been named. The flow of your descriptive words is quite amazing, actually. There are no stops...or starts...between meaningful sentences. Congratulations, again....Blessings.

Ah, this is just so lovely of YOUR SOUL! I see you in all that you write, dear Jess.
Of special note:
She is mine.
My soul,
my spirit spilled.
The trailing ink
of my confessions.
She is the escape
and the light
that guides me home.
Magnificent offering for the book. Aching for a six to give today. A treasure.
Sending you my best today as always.

I wish I had a six because this surely deserves an extra star. I love the way the imagery takes me around the world and spans of colors and images seem to circle. She stitches the wounds she inflicts. That was an excellent line. Shows impulse and remorse dancing the tango. Great poem. Gretchen

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT POEM THAT SPEAKS TO THE MYSTERY OF THE HEART SOUL AND MIND AND CELEBRATES WHO YOU ARE, AND WHAT YOU THINK. This piece challenges us to believe in ourselves and Accept with gusto the challenges that life brings with its complexities. THANKS

Hi Jessica, I was really taken with your prologue poem for the NaPoWriMo contest. Your words are beautiful painting a beautiful imagery.
I especially like the stanza beginning: She is the bearer of unborn brilliance,
Very lyrical. Ullaxcx

Very thoughtful, and thought-provoking, as well as being lyrical and descriptive. I like the alliteration, subtle and appropriate, and the last half is wonderful, showing the power of writing from one's heart and soul.

Very beautifully written. I love your choice of words. She is
the bearer
of unborn brilliance,
the mother
of preconceived craft,
the work of lyrical art
emerging
in the glimmer of dawn.
A masterpiece
draped in golden light.beautiful contest entry.
