I think of Him more times than most and still feel not enough. When given thought all He did, from the Creation forward, for our bodily actions and thoughts, to the beauty that surrounds us remains incredible.
Do you know if and how one can post a picture, like Sally does with songs into our comments?
P.S. - Thanks for your review.

I think she may get them from you tube. Why don't you ask her. I know she will be happy to help. I am sorry, but I have never tried it. If she doesn't Helen is a good person to ask for help too! Thank you for sharing your work! Blessings, TEri

You have done a superb job of your interpretation of what Jesus might've thought while undergoing the ultimate betrayal of man.
The photograph is a fitting complement to your write. Is it one of your own?
Many thanks for sharing, Tom :)

Yes, I snapped the statue's photo while visiting the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint's visitor center in Salt Lake symnolizing the creation. I am glad you enjoyed it.

That's a perfect exposé on a truly biblical story - I will even say: history!
Very well documented, written in a passionate manner, your rendering is a true, captivating and narration of our Saviour's journey and ministry on earth.
Great piece!!

I tried to describe what He may have felt on the journey He volunteered for and hoped I succeeded in making aware how great His sacrifice was for all. Thank you.

Hello Tom,
well done on your depiction of what Jesus must have felt. I can't imagine knowing what was before him and being willing to go through the horrific pain. That he felt we were worth it is truly humbling. You're right, it's so easy to fall back into our old ways. I hope everyone takes a few minutes to reflect on the price he paid for our salvation. Thanks so much for sharing this thoughtful account.
Have a blessed evening.

I, like those who celebrate Easter and Christmas and disappear the following day, need to repent in a simple way with a "good morning" or "goodnight" who gave His life for me, a little more fervenly. Be well, and thanks for the read.

Tom,
This is absolutely brilliant. You captured your reader by putting the story of the crucifixion in the first person. We all know the story, but in your telling you let the reader feel the emotions and tragedy.
Best wishes

Thank you, Mary. I hope to have done it sufficiently, but withoout living it how can any mortal understand the challenge and immensity of the challenge He faced.

This is a very moving piece, and it shows great spiritual insight. It is always strange that people can appear to be moved by the salvation story, but just be token believers for Easter (and Christmas). If we believe in Him we are meant to be His followers every single day. Very thoughtful, and very timely. A lovely piece.

Indeed. And even though I think of Him daily for I read my scriptures, and say an irresolute prayer as I retire, how can we know absolutely if there is another side for faith defined is "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Heb11:1

What a wonderful read for me (not overly religious) your story did bring some understanding about stories heard, to think about the point that His journey was planned well before it happened, and how you have explained the reasons for His actions and thoughts, a most enjoyable read, thank you for sharing this****kahpot

"The Plan" as I have been told was the one accepted in premortal life when Lucifer's idea was poo-pooed, as he wanted all the glory, whereas Px would return proven heirs of His Father home, but first they were given a physical body and tested here.

I am grateful for your Easter story and for the blessing we earned because of his death. It's a shame that many dress in their Easter Best, walk into church, and sing the praises of the Lord having Risen.... only to pack the spirit away for another year. Great posting!
Smiles, Carol

I thought as well re: Easter. Christmas is another time when once the wrapping is laid to rest, the New Year begins again as all the other days. Thanks for the review.
Comment from Ric Myworld
Yes, sir, how quickly so many conveniently forget that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and ease right back into their wicked ways of the world until next Easter. Thanks for sharing.
