Hi,
When I started reading you, I thought I had already reviewed this yesterday. Then I realised it must have been a poem by Helen. Nah! It was an interview.
Paul's surname sounds very familiar. I'm going to look him up straightaway.
Thanks for letting us know and for your gorgeous poetry.

    Hi Debi,
I wish I have more time for the site. I will when I retire in September, I'm sure.
Happy New Year! I know it's pretty late but...
    BTW, I'm a grandma!
reply by the author on 17-Jan-2024
Ahhhh, grandma Maria, or what are you going to go by? If I had to do it over again, I would have them call me Nana. Oh hon, that is awesome! Did you find what I told you that it was a love you did not know existed? At least for me it is like no other. Congrats sweetheart. I can't wait to hear more. Please let me know more details when you have a chance.

Did they name her Ana like they had planned?
reply by Heather Knight on 20-Jan-2024
Yes, but we call her Annie and MC's family Ana or Anita.x

    Hello again,
I like both Nana and Grandma. In Spanish (for my daughter-in-law) we are the yayos which is like nana and pops more or less.
She's one month old tomorrow and incredibly beautiful.
I love her as much as I love my kids, but I also feel kind of nostalgic. Although I'm very happy for them, I wish I could see her all the time, but of course, that's impossible because I don't want to intrude.
Anyway, tomorrow we are eating lunch at their home and we are bringing the food ourselves.
Last Sunday we also ate lunch with them.
    Hugs. xxx

I am so happy for you. As you tell me this, I am writing a poem for tomorrow called Grandma's empty nest. LOL, do you see why I took such an interest in your sweet little one? Enjoy and don't blink!!
It goes so fast! Mine are 20, 20, 17, 16, 13, and 12. But they grew up too fast and they won't do sleepovers, let me build them tents,, do treasure hunts and rock them anymore! Ingrateful, huh? LOL!

That's kids for you. Wow, you have 6 grandchildren!
Annie is not even two months old yet and she's already changed so much.
She's incredibly beautiful and extremely alert.
And it's true. Time flies... It's kind of scary sometimes.

I will certainly send out a prayer for Paul. I have reviewed many of his posts. How awesome to have a birthday on the same day as Christ's. Good job with the poem, Debi.

Thanks for sharing the image, poem, and notes, Debi. I am sorry to hear Paul is in the hospital. Hope it's not a lengthy stay.

You do a good job with the tribute with many good examples and rhyme letting us get to know Paul a little better. I can't even imagine teaching 54 years! Kudos to him for that. It sounds like he had a special bond with his students. I like your couplet about being born on Christmas day.

I can't imagine the feeling he must have had performing at Royal Albert Hall. What an honor.
A very nice closing couplet. Hope Paul is back with us soon.

One small thing: Prom Praise [I think you mean From]

Thanks so much Pam, for the lovely comments for Paul?s poem and for him. I appreciated them so much and know he will too. Actually Paul plans on responding too, so he came answer some questions on how he is doing.
However he is out of the hospital but will fill everyone in himself on how he is doing. As far as the Prom Praise where he sang that was copied directly from his notes that way so I am guessing that it is accurate. I know a strange name for something so big, right? LOL. Bit I will ask Paul as I know he will answer right away. Thanks again, my very dear friend.
