Awe, thank you Sweetie. And all of a sudden your birthday isn?t so far. And I don?t even have to look cause I know it?s February. Thanks my wonderful friend for catching this one. As always, you are such an awesome friend!

I am anxious now for my 77 Sunset Strip birthday. I'm enjoying 76 trombones playing in the background right now.

You are so good with birthday poems and you introduce me to people I wouldn't meet otherwise.
I like the artwork too. You must be a fast typist and sleep a little bit....I don't know how you do it.

I take a lot of time, I write, I double check, and constantly changing. I call it my recipe for writing, because it takes days for me to look back and get a different perspective on them. I always find if you look at something long enough you can?t really be objective, so I write, let it simmer, stir, season (edit) and keep doing it until I feel they are right. I don?t always have time to do that, but I am happiest with my work if I do.
I am just getting ready to post my poem for your club event about Jesus. Only mine isn?t as much about His birth as it is about us following Him. I did write that one days ago and has been changed so many times that it almost doesn?t look like the same one. But I am happy with it. I hope you like it too.
I can?t wait to get back into writing more of your style and to learn more from you. I seem to keep picking the ones where we can choose and I need to stop choosing my way. LOL. Old habits are hard to break, y?know?
Thanks for the kind words for this one, and I always appreciate your sweet reviews. Merry Christmas, my wonderful friend. Lotsa Love, Debi

This is such a touching poem about your friend Linda.
I don't know what is PSP and I haven't watched the clips yet, but I understand what it is to live with someone ill at home. My Grandmother was left in her bed without being able to speak for 7 years after a stroke at the age 83, and my mother, her sisters and myself, we took care of her until her last breath. It was so sad to see her in this state...
I wish you and your friend and families a beautiful and joyful Christmas' day despite the illness.

Another outstanding poem and beautiful characteration of the subject. I don't know how you manage to prepare every poem differently and every every one a prize winner. Absolutely lovely from the picture through the closing. ann

A wonderful tribute to Ginda. She certainly has a lot on her plate and appears that she handles it all well. I'm so sorry to hear that her husband has been afflicted with PSP. It is a terrible condition, and I wish him well.

Hi Debi,
You never fail to bring your subjects into the light of others with your birthday poems. Of course, this poem is no different, your style of storytelling gives way to a lovely melody of compliment for the recipient... this time Ginda. She sounds like a truly wonderful and talented human.
So sorry this family are all battling PSP, especially her husband who is living with it, but these types of diseases affect those closest to them also. It would be so hard to watch any loved one suffering, no matter what medication they might be on to 'take the edge off'.
Ginda's been married for fifty-one years... that's magic! That's devotion! That's love!. Beautiful!
Wishing Ginda a belated Birthday Prayer, where dreaming her dreams capture our Lord's attention. And I'm sure the awareness is in the doing, giving, sharing and dedication.
A truly beautifully smooth composition and a wonderful dedication Debi, love reading your heart and lovely mind at work!
Wishing you and your family a very Happy and Safe Christmas dear lady.
With our thoughts we create...
a glimpse through the eyes of another.
Warm regards,
James.

Friends have a way of finding each other Debi, so grateful we connected through such a lovely-caring community... yeah, 'some' can get a little scratchy at times... but you know the old saying my friend...
To forgive through the power of the Holy Spirit is therefore 'divine. '
In my thoughts and prayers Debi.

Oooh thank you Joan. Looks like we are going to have a very brown Christmas. We just were in town and even saw people out on Buffalo Lake fishing already with portable fish houses. I pray my grandboys aren?t doing that. Actually it is really foggy here so glad I don?t have to go back to town for any reason.
Thanks for the sweet comments for Ginda and her poem. She really is amazing so I hope she is reading these well wishes for her.
Thank you again and Merry Christmas to you too, dear friend. Debi

You?re very welcome, Debi. Those people on the lake this early are tempting fate.We may get snow flurries on Christmas. Bet not enough to make it a truly white Christmas.

another great tribute poem to another poet at Fan Story. You should collect these for publication, they are poignant, sweet and well done from a poetic point of view.
