Hi Debi,
Of course, I didn't know that Janet played a vital role in 9-1-1. She stayed cool, and did her job well, while so many were in panic mode. And so many grandchildren, and even a great grandchild! She has certainly lived a full life. You've done well with introducing us to this fine lady, and offering her one of your excellent birthday poems. These biographical poems are so hard to put together, a real test of your poetical talent.

Thank you for sharing Janet Foor's birthday tribute with us. I have read and enjoyed some of her poems. I see I need to make a more conscious effort to read more of them. I enjoyed reading about this remarkable lady.

Wow, Barb, what would I do without you. My eyes read them many times, and I never caught those typos. I have a new strange upgrade that is supposed to help because my eyes can't do it anymore. Thank God I have a Barb in my system that never fails. LOL... Thanks Sweetie. You don't know how much I appreciate the feedback. The odd part is, it is the same system that is supposed to watch for them that seems to be putting them in there, unless I do it accidentally without knowing. So between mine and Sally's eyes, we have different software that I help check for hers when she is done with hers, I will check with mine and still misses mistakes.
My point being, I'm very thankful for you once again, my dear friend.

Wonderful tribute. I didn't catch if she was a personal friend. I should have read into it more. I'll never forget going to NYC just a few months after to do a wood floor near lower Manhattan and the maintenance man said from his apartment he watched people jumping from the towers. She truly is a hero.
