This is a nice ode/birthday card for your daughter-in-law. It shows your love and respect for her. Is it part of the form to have the bridge lines all end in the same word?

Hi Joan! No, those middle lines can do whatever. They can be two lines that rhyme, four line stanzas of a different kind or one or two to rhyme or not. As long as they use a bridge line to set the up and down effect of carousel horses, and the rhymes are what makes it go around. Having fun is the merry.
