Congratulations on the milestone!! This was obviously crafted with genuine emotion and a good sense of wit. Noting the reference to Tom T. Hall, I would say to toast his birthday with champagne; however, maybe just a Coors, Budweiser, or whatever brand is his delight!

Don't you dare start feeling old on me now lady! I'm coming for you on Sept 17th. I memorized yours so I hope it's right. Remember me telling you that it was the day before my husband & my dad. Yes, I married someone w the same birthday. I promise when I get done w you, we'll both be out there doing the disco! Never stop dreaming Sweetie! Lotsa love coming your way!
And yes Terry really did appreciate it!

I know we have talked before about such similarities. I go in June 14 & 28 for cataracts and to repair retinas after shingles. What did you say you're getting done?

May 19 cataract surgery for hole in retina and then the other eye six weeks later. Apparently it only takes 30 mins to replace the lens. Still, I am shaking already!

I am not laughing at you but how strange that we found each others friendship just when God saw fit. So many similarities and now you are doing yours right before mine. I will be praying for you and did your surgeon ask you if you would like good vision for up close or far away? They did me. He said when he replaces the lens he can make me see really well again. So of course I took the up close. I am so excited for both of us. This may be the easiest of all my surgeries cause I have had so many parts put in me. Bionic woman is what my doctors call me.
