You did a wonderful job with this Lauranelle form Yvonne. I found the 10 syllable lines took a bit more work, myself. You've set a lovely scene. Well done, cheers.

Thank you for this wonderful review!
Comment from Debbie D'Arcy
This lovely verse conveys a feeling of deep peace and tranquillity, the dream only interrupted briefly by the "fox's bark." The imagery and imagination are enchanting; the rhyme always perfect and unforced and the repetition at the end of course giving the whole stroll through nature a satisfying sense of completion. Well done on this entry. Best wishes, Debbie

A most enjoyable peek into the world of enchantment so eloquently expressed.
I felt like I was walking the path and peeking too which sadly I was not.
I enjoyed the style and intriguing tale.
Truly a pleasure to read.
Blessings

This brought fond memories. As a boy hurrying home from a friend's home or perhaps just a stroll after sunset, whippoorwill call, I remember oh so well. Good one, Arkie.

Thank you. When we lived in the woods, we heard whippoorwills all the time.

I love to hear them.

Glorious! You haven't lost your elegant touch. Lovely imagery and graceful flow. Hope all is well--I've been offsite these past weeks--wanted to pop in.

What a fun magical club entry you've created. I love the fairytale aspect of it. I could see it all happening as I read. Great descriptions. This was a lot of fun to read, and it flows perfectly.

Thank you. A little glimpse into my imaginary world.

You've created a fairytale world with your dancing little people, and of course, I'm imagining giant monsters off in the weeds. But that's just how my mind works. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

An excellent Lauranelle and thank you for introducing us to this form. I never heard of it, though I've written both a villanelle and terzanelle.
Fantastic imagery, visuals, presentation and a choice of an artwork.
Thank you for sharing, I really enjoyed it.

You've done a marvelous job with this complicated structure and rhyme scheme. You've made a difficult form sound so natural. I loved the image of the forest path you presented and coming across a group of dancing fairies or fauns. It reminded me of something from C.S. Lewis's world. I loved that picture too. Terrific poem! Jim

Thank you so much for this wonderful review. I'm happy you liked it. I live in my own little world, but it's okay. They all know me there. hahahaha

That was a lovely Lauranelle, dear SATP! I loved the magic with the fairies dancing beside the old tree under the moonlight, which of course is magical in itself. Hearing the sounds of the fox and the owl in the background as you walked along that path. It was a beautiful poem, my dear sister. Very well done. Love and hugs. Hope you had a lovely Easter? :)) Sandra xxx
