Yours is such a welcome commentary on the meaning of Easter, for us to read today, Good Friday. I tend to get caught up in life and miss many opportunities to be still and examine the contents of my heart and my relationship with God. But I do stop, no matter what, no matter where, on Good Friday and spend time at 3:00 to contemplate the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. Your writing today only added to that reflection. Thank you.

I am so glad that this piece was meaningful to you, and added to your Easter reflections. That's an honour, and I appreciate it.

This is an absolutely beautiful Easter message from a tremendous writer. I enjoyed so much listening to this. It once again reminds me of just how much our savior went through to pay the penalty for our sins, and my sins were many. I wish you the very best and everything that you write. If I could've given you more than six stars, I would've done it. God bless and have a good Easter. Patricia

Bless you, Patricia - and thank you so much for your very kind, supportive words, and also for the six stars. An honour, greatly valued. Blessings for you and your loved ones this Easter too. Good to rejoice in the fact that He is risen!

What a beautiful way to illustrate how God's heart must have grieved to lose His only Son. You presented Jesus so wonderfully here that did I not already love him, I would want to. The importance of our being forgiven to be pure before Him to have a relationship with Him now and later in heaven was explained very well.

Thank you Verna - your six star rating is greatly valued, as are your words. That is my prayer - that some-one will see and understand the enormity of His love and grace.

I know one thing, He taught me how to love, it's a never ending thing, He knew and loved even before the foundation of the earth, and He knew even then, He would die for us, He knows how to win friends, and how to keep them what's more, well done Wendy, blessings Roy

Here I am, Wendy, sitting in the front pew, looking up at you as you deliver this sermon. This is a sermon and a great one. I posted an Easter poem last year that was one of my better ones.

Lol, thank you Paul! I've never given a sermon in my life, but sometimes my heart just wants to express itself in words, and for me written is easier than spoken. I am glad tyou enjoyed it (if that is the right word). Thank you most sincerely for the six stars, a most encouraging validation of my efforts.

What a great way to explain the gospel! I liked how you started with the example of your son's question to show what the Lord did for us, willing to pay for our debt in the most gruesome way but since He is God, He could cover the sins of all humanity past, present, and future. Christ is Risen!

Yes, He is risen. Triumphant and victorious, and soon will be acknowledged as Lord, Saviour and King for ever. Yes, fully human, yet fully God - difficult to understand, but therefore the perfect atoning sacrifice and the perfect intermediary. May your Easter be blessed and filled with joy.

Questions posed and answer all in one story that was well told. It was all part of the plan we raised our arm to the square pre-mortally in accepting what He said he would do versus Lucifer's idea to force us to love and worship him.

Thank you for reviewing, Tom. Yes, we thank and trust Him now, and for always. He did what was needed to bring us back to God.

Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. Yes, Jesus did more for us that we can even comprehend. I doubt we ever will. Such a sacrifice. You did a wonderful job explaining it. I enjoyed reading.

Thank you so much Barbara. Your words mean a lot. How to explain what is beyond explanation, beyond our comprehension?!

I've often thought how Jesus must have felt when he was captured. Then to face feeling abandoned by His Father must have been horrible! I think we take His sacrifice for granted a lot of the time.

Yes, I think we do. It?s impossible to understand what He went through, hard to explain such love, beyond our understanding.
