This is a nice tribute to your friend Joan, who goes by dragonpoet on here. I like the touch of humor in this poem. It is far from schmaltzy. It is sincere and focused on her so the reader will know her just a little better. It is an invitation for us to wish her a happy birthday. Thank you.

Yes, Happy Birthday Joan! Once we had a birthday heads up and I think it has left town. I thought your poem was heady and most loving for a lovely lady. We should bring joy to folks on their birthday. Now you known mine, your sense of humor will shine! K xx

My, my, you are staying busy, Debi. Never heard of the Merry-go-Rhyme, but that is a clever name. Sillious is also a new one for me. Are these your inventions?

I enjoyed your fun and 'sillious' Merry-go-rhyme poem for Joan's birthday. I hope she has a fun and restful day. Your used cute rhymes, and I hope Joan gets a laugh from your greeting. Blessings. Carol

Here's the deal my dear. You are the welcome fairy, Helen the birthday poet, and I just fly around behind you both with a little broom and dustpan and collect the drippings, dribblings or was that droppings. I just want to be where I am needed. If God sends me, I go. Which is why I did that this morning. You and God!! I am at your service always!!! Did you have a dr appt today?

How sweet of you to write this birthday poem for Joan! I am so glad you did. I wrote about March but didn't know her birthday so I'm glad you learned it and shared it. Sent her message now.

How funny that Karenina was the last review I read and I copied it and sending to you right here: Here's the deal my dear. You are the welcome fairy, Helen the birthday poet, and I just fly around behind you both with a little broom and dustpan and collect the drippings, dribblings or was that droppings? LOL........ I just want to be where I am needed. If God sends me, I go. This woman's History month was important to me, because you are all important to me. I might even do one to introduce you all to some of the ladies in my home world.

To tell you the truth Helen, I have some withdrawal going on right now after forced to go off my antidepressant cold turkey. Long story and will tell you more later, but Very dangerous, and am more sure than ever that we should not have to do not only our own jobs, but more and more, the professional medical too. I take that back, most are great! But in this case, nobody could get it, that I was wanting to ween, I told the guy that at Walgreens, so he contacted insurance, changed my status to done weening. So they cut me off, doctor out of town, pharmacists I swear was out of town, LOL, and after four days of being without, I felt like I was out of town. In fact it was so bad that satan was visiting in my sleep and nightmares were so bad that Glen said he was afraid that my heart would give out. And me too stubborn and busy to rest or go in during the day. So I had Margaret's planned, but then Joan asked me for one too on Saturday. So I couldn't say no, and I do know that you are so busy too. So hated to ask you.
But hated my end result on Sunday morning, since I knew my muse must have been stuck under the snowbanks, I could not do anything right. Thank goodness I have them fixed up a little now, but was not happy with either of them yesterday. I am still so unsteady on my feet, my brain still in a fog, and not feeling real well with it. But when they got it, offered to put me back on, and I said no, i have been without five days now, and will get through it, yet they say could take six weeks for side effects of withdrawal to be gone. Now my doc is back and under her care, but this may even prolong my eye surgery. We will see what surgeon says on Wednesday.
I am just not up to satan strapping me down and growling at me in my sleep. Glen was two rooms away and my door closed and came in and could barely wake me up. Two nights in a row. Last night got a couple hours of sleep tho. So thankfully it is just a bit better. And am sure it will keep getting better. But now am sleeping with the lights on. Not that i don't trust God to take care of me, but satan's voice is exactly how you would expect it. Oh that's right it wasn't real. Honestly Helen, I just wasn't sure.

    Oh, Debi!
Lord, You Debi's Rock and Shelter and Refuge. Protect and shield her and provide the right medication and dosages. We pray that the eye surgery will go well without any delay. In Jesus' Name! Amen
By the way, you can have an Audio Bible being read to you from several websites like https://www.wordproject.org/bibles/audio/

Have the Word be read to you before you sleep.

Actually Helen, I have been using audible Bible for many years now. When I first got Alexa, it was the first thing that I did was hook her up to it. Now I have Amazon audible and use it quite a bit on other readings. Thank you for your prayers, and Glen will be in with me on this appt on Wed w the surgeon.
Glen is the one who thinks the surgeries should wait until my body has recovered from the withdrawal. I never had anything like this happen to me before, so obviously it must be very potent. I will never put anything in my mouth again, for medication unless it is absolutely necessary. Kidney and lupus meds are different, but guess it is true that big pharmaceuticals do get rich off of us. Sorry I didn't mean to lay this on you in a review response, but you know me, when I feel it coming, I just cant stop it. Lol...

Oh. Some of the drugs that affect the brain has crazy withdrawal symptoms and need to be tapered off slowly to not cause problems. God is greater than all those symptoms and He will protect!! 💖🙏

Love my new word for the day. Sillious. Maybe you can change the spelling to silly us. Debi you are such a kind and considerate friend. I really enjoy the birthday greeting you send. Members like you make this site so welcoming.

Excellent Merry~go~Rhyme poem, Debi. I love Joan, she writes the kindest reviews and she is very helpful. You chose two wonderful fanstorians, Margaret and Joan, to honor with your beatiful poems.

The merry-go-rhyme is kind of a combination of lots of things; it is fun to read. But the best part of this poem is that the person who's celebrating their special birthday, is perhaps glowing with smiles right now. You made her day!
