It's a lovely story and I agree with you, some stories of just have to be written, and this is definitely one of them. He looked out for her but in the end he had to let go. A lovely ending. Ulla:)))

It was a gripping and enthralling read, with elements of love, loss, guilt, grief, forgiveness, along wth some supernatural elements. Excellent writing. Sorry not to have a six for you.

I enjoyed this read, and yes, it was sad.
But you did a wonderful job with the story flow. You kept me glued until the end. It makes me think of "Ghost" the movie.
Nice job.

Awesome story! Sorry, I don't have any more 6 stars - you deserve one. The story is a page-turner - One that will hold the interest of the reader and they will also share the emotions of the characters. Thank you for sharing your talent!

I really enjoyed this story. If this were in a book, I'd have to say I couldn't put the book down. It was very engaging, realistic, and sweet. First, he resented the guy, then realized he just wanted her to be happy. Bravo.

This was an extremely poignant red, and well-written. I enjoyed it very much except I so hoped the mould could be broken and the dead come back to life. kay

A very nice piece. One thing though (and I'm nit-picking): your narrator is clearly watching the whole saga (works for me,) but there are a couple long stretches where that isn't clear, making it a bit jarring when he returns and we are reminded of that. Sprinkle just a few more "I" sentences to even that out. Otherwise, well done. A powerful story.

A tragic, yet beautiful story. Tears... lots of tears at the end. I loved it. I don't have any 6s left... but it definitely deserves one. Loss is so devastating, especially when you're young... I just can't even imagine. The persistence of the male character is on the verge of stalker, but it works here.
Nicely done
Susan :)
