A wonderful story. I enjoyed reading it very much. I can see why you at the #2 spot. I just love how you had shown book sales up because of a trail. I also like the ending. Well done.

Oh my word! This is a delightful and fun story. I lapped up every word, every moment! And the tag line that you repeat in the most amusing ways...let's see who lives and dies...perfect. I also love the conversation of the two women at the end. Priceless!

Congratulations on your hundredth post and on this excellent story. It is perfectly proofread as far as I can tell, and totally entertaining. You handled a rather large cast of characters quite well, and it looks as if you are trying to start a new way of asking about hopping in bed.

Genius! Pure Genius! And what a great one for your 100th! Congrats again my friend! And how ironic that you and I would share the exact day day, with the same number. And neither of us knowing about the other.
This one I didn't have to guess or even look, as I can tell it is fiction, but what a fantastic story. I loved that the very same thing that these woman were accused of doing, Paul and Kate so lightheartedly make a date to play the the so called game. Just as Liz and Sue were celebrating, making plans for the making of the movie. It sounds like it was a win, win situation for everyone involved. Fun story with plots and twists, not to mention a story line that once again grabbed me from the beginning. As yours always do. I am so happy that my number one writer is not only like a mentor to me, but that we shared an awesome milestone together.
Coincidence? I don't think so!

LOL, Debi! thank you for the six stars! I am delighted you enjoyed my little fictional story with a humorous twist. I am enjoying trying to write fiction. I got some more coming, I hope you like them as well. Terry.

Wow! You packed a lot of great info into this contest entry,
Terry. I enjoyed reading it. I remembered the first part, and
this one was a great follow up. I felt as though I was right
there in the midst of the court proceedings. You did a great
job describing what was happening. Well, the two women got
off, does this mean there could be a part three. I'm still convinced
they and the doctor were in on it in a way besides the blue pill.
Thanks for sharing, Jan

That was fabulous! That would have made a great novel, if it hasn't already. The ending was even better, all wanting to see who would live and who would die, and the authors are making a fortune! I wonder if I could come up with something that good, me being a sweet old lady!!! Lol. Excellent contest entry, Terry. Well done and good luck :)) Sandra xx

Sandra, Thank you for reading and for your very kind words. I can not write a novel like you, I am a simple storyteller and new to writing fiction, but I am having fun. Thanks, Terry.

So was I when I joined FS. In fact, I only wrote poetry. After I'd been with the site 2 years, a contest came up and I wrote a short story. It was 5000 words, riddled with errors, and yet it won. Everyone loved the idea. (As I like yours) I left it at that for another few years and then 5years ago I was going through my portfolio and took another look at that short story. I thought I'd make some corrections from the edits I received in reviews. Once I started, I posted the newer corrected version, only this time I split it in two parts, and I had such a good reaction, I continued. It ended up as a 3 book time-travelling trilogy. I was 70 years old when I completed the first in the series, and had it published. It is possible, my friend, and this story would really make a fabulous novel. You can do it, I did. xxx

something to think about. I am chasing new stories maybe I will lock on to one to chase, but I pushing 77, so I may just stay with the short ones.

Congrats on 100 posts! The concept of having two old ladies being accused of murder makes for great fiction. I imagine giving that as a writing prompt could result in numerous excellent stories. You have no doubt hit upon one. Great read and imaginative story line with good dialogue. Coining of a new phrase, perhaps? "Let's see who lives and see who does."
