This is the best stance that would be echoed by Eckhart Tolle: "Where would I rather be, if not here, if not now?" That is encouraging the reader to keep it in the now. My thought is, 'what is the anxiety?' If someone is worried because of what people will think about their undone project, what difference does it make? You're dead! It isn't going to be a situation where you'd say, 'I'd just die if people saw this me.'

Raul! Thank you as always for your reviews.

This was a really interesting poem. The refrain was very interesting and the increasingly impossible to answer questions give the reader much to think over. Thanks for sharing!

The author's words are thought provoking! I found this poem to confront, be deep, interesting, detailed, descriptive and creative. I thought about how much life is a mystery and how life goes on. Acceptance is part of the plan. The poem flows and connects well The artwork is awesome and compliments these words.

I think your poem is reflecting how, no matter how old we are, we still have many questions about life. The person who stops asking questions is the person who stops learning. This is very well written. Regards, Lilly

Barbara, Thank you so much!

This piece is excellent. The repetition draws you in and drives the point home. I've often found myself thinking "if I could just get a little older and a little more wise I'd understand." This piece demonstrates that clearly there are some universal wonders that may never be known to us!
