Hi Shirley, my son is deep into ancestry trees...
he found over 1000 people or more in our family...
one was a sister he never knew he had...him and my daughter now have..
my ex got a woman pregnant three years before we met...
she was suppose to abort it....and never did...
her name is Beth...and looks a lot like my son...her kids look like my daughter...they have all met...and stay in touch...
I'm so sorry that you had trouble...can you go to another
ancestry site???..
your poem is very well written my sweet friend...
and your picture says it all sweet girl...love your poem...though sad...love you...Linda xxoo

Thanks Linda,
I do appreciate your caring review.
The problem isn't with the ancestry site it's with the family secrets and truths never told.
Sadly I have two half brothers who don't know for certain who their fathers are, my mother never knew her father and there are gaps further back in the past as well.
It is a shame for I feel we all deserve to at least know who our fathers were.
Blessings
Shirley

My son is very much involved in putting together our family tree, and often he laments the "scars" of blanks he cannot fill. Your short poem conveys his frustration very well. Rod

You must be skilled in tracing genealogy and finding it frustrating to find scars on the ancestral tree. I am adopted and have more scars than most on my stunted tree.
(I think you could put the copyright symbol and your name and date in a smaller font size underneath the poem - it is distracting and in white it looks more important than the poem itself.)
