The Foundation Stone, simply Rock, is believed by Talmudic sages and many modern Jews to be the place from which the rest of the world was created -- the first bit of the world to come into being. Writings dating back to the Roman period attest to the significance of the Foundation Stone.

This story had interesting information in it, but the length was disproportionate with respect to the information. I think it would have beneffited from tightening up and shortening. This would have made it a more powerful read.

Hmm this is intriguing. The idea of what is historical truth and what I biblical or religious mythology. Charlie answers some interesting questions as they delve into the probable past. I suppose that is all the story is about.
