Just lovely Dove, hello my friend.. I really enjoyed reading your verse. It is wonderfully written and a thoroughly enjoyable poem. Please forgive me for not saying more. I had injections in each hand yesterday and find it difficult to type. Great job.

With respect to syllable forms, there are many varieties of poem. This one has 6-5-5-5. But anyway, it's a very brief poem saying something lovely about love. But that it's lovely doesn't mean that it's powerfully expressive or that it sets a match to the imagination. Try this: Love broke like a mirror/ Watch out! Sharp!/ But/ It lit up every which-way.
Poetry's got to get away from the ordinary, even when you're talking about the ordinary.
