Wow, Yvonne, I wondered how good the poem of the month could be and after reading it I am convinced! This is superb in every way! With details made up of musical instruments such as the kettle drum and cymbals. I love music it is great for me I play most of the instruments in a rock band!
This is wonderful and entertaining, all the best that poetry can provide! I am happy you received the best poem of the month now that I know just how it plays out!

Hello Yvonne!
Such a rhythmical and moving poem told in Bridges format.
Your ability to create "word pictures" is fantastic.
How I love a "good storm" as long as no one is harmed and nothing is destroyed! And northern Michigan surely has her share of such events.
Thank you for sharing both this poetic format and poetic description.
Best Wishes!

I must stop moping about and come back properly. I missed this amazing poem of yours, and think it's a brilliant one for the poem of the month award, (for which you have my vote) All the sounds that hit the eardrums you've worked into this one: Cymbals clashing (loved that line) in fact I've got to say, I loved the whole poem, it was amazing! Well done, dear SATP and good luck in the contest! :)) Sandra xxxx

Yes, I'm just waiting to get to see the neurologist on Monday. It's been ages. That poem of yours is truly amazing, my talented sister. Love you back, more. xxx

Let me know the minute you have some results! Prayers going for you.

I will, but we'll chat before that. Perhaps later tomorrow when I come home from the shopping. About 5pm my time? xxx

Sounds good.

You've used great descriptions of a storm, pummeling the ground, deafening cymbals clash - that's the sound I hate. Great work with your Bridges poem Yvonne, and a lovely presentation,
cheers,
valda

As I stated in your birthday tribute, there's nothing you won't try in the poetry realm. You make me want to be brave with this stunner. The marching band sound adds to the drama. Superb. I'm wanting for a six!! Please accept my virtual six with compliments.
Sending you my very best,

Thank you so much. I re-read all my birthday greets this afternoon. I finally deleted them, but I did so enjoy them. Thanks to you.

A beautifully crafted and skilful rendition of Robert Frost's poetic form "Bridges" and that's exactly how it sounds, forming crossings to a distant destination, I assume that's what its purpose is. It's sweetly written with great articulation and finesse, well done Yvonne, blessings Roy

Every time I think you guys have given me the last known poetry form, you lay another one on me. This form is more appealing to me than I thought it would be.

Oh wow, what a lovely poem, Yvonne, and a format that's new to me; at least the actual name of it. (lol) That storm came to life for me in my imagination with your sublime poem!
