I really enjoyed reading it while I smiled at how beautiful God has made Sophia to be. The joy gotten from lovely and innocent children is out of this world. Well done Sal.

This acrostic poem, Sophia, follows the vertical, first-letter theme and gives the reader loving sketch of your granddaughter. Favorite line: "Has each new day in her grasp."

Hi Sally,
How old is your granddaughter? She looks about the same age as my Alyssa, who just turned 7 on December 16th. She's in Grade 2 at Island View School. I take her to school each morning for 8:05am, and pick her up at 1:25pm. I call her "Lissie" and she calls me "Papa".
You've written a nice acrostic for Sophia.
I especially like "the robber of my heart"
I wish these days would last, but before you know it, she'll be 17 and I'll be 80.

Sal, this is a delightful tribute to your sweet granddaughter, whose innocent loveliness resembles your own at that age (based on a picture of you in your teens with Jackson). May she one day find as strong and lasting unconditional love from a truly caring man as you did. Superb, and beautifully illustrated by your photo of her.

Hello Sally.

You did a great job lining up all of your wording as an acrostic and Sofia looks wonderful testing the flower with her nose.

They are all heart robbers at that age and I believe they know it.
