Cassie didn't seem like the type girl who would meet someone she met on-line. I'm really surprised that her frined, Angela is so calm about it. I'm thrilled to learn that Joe thinks he loves Sara, and I'm hoping that Cassie is alright wherever she is. This was a very good read.

I don't think Angela thinks Cassie is missing. I think the girls believed it was all friendly, they didn't have the life experiences to believe anything dangerous would happen. Thank yu for the kind review.

OMG an internet preditor, every mother's fear. This chapter was riviting, it kept me glued to my seat. You were so right when you said 15yr old boys don't write love poems. That means it's an older man posing as a kid. YIKES.

get my parent's number - parents' - since plural possessive
Barbara, what a tense, suspense-building chapter - I'm so concerned for Cassie, which says a lot about your character development, that I'm sitting here feeling upset about a fictional girl. LOL As always, your dialogue is good as is your pacing :-)
As for the author's notes, hurray for the uterine biopsy! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you go in for the results on the breast cancer front. I am sending you all kinds of love, my friend :-) Brooke
