This poem was written very beautifully and a great tribute to you granddaughter. This is a great poem for any child to be read to and it's very mystifying in the way that it is written with the magical creatures that the words and in the sea. Your rhyming was done very well and neither of your rhymes were forced, labored or strained except for one way you use they syllabic rhyme and being between "been" and "green" which is truly fine but very different for some others. Your rhythm was also done very well and made it easy for me to read and understand your poem very correctly. Thank you so much for sharing this with others including myself. May you have a good one and God bless.

Well, I certainly can relate to this! I have four grandsons, so I know the pull they have upon your heart. Adapearl writes about her grandson, Sawyer too.
I love this and the cute picture. I had one girl and three boys, so I really had fun with this phase of fairy princesses.
No doubt this will be a family heirloom to pass down for generations.

This was wonderfully done. The photo was a great inspiration for your poem. The flow of the wording seemed effortless to write because it was so to read. The rhyme was spot on and I would like to email this to my daughter-in-law so they can read it to my two grandchildren (if you don't mind?)
Nicely done... John

This is a very cute poem. The rhyming scheme enhances the piece. The word choice is appropriate for the intended audience.

I have three grandchildren and just may take you up on your offer. I liked the fairy tale feel to this. I know little children, girls especially, love to pretend and fairies and princesses are a big hit. What a lucky girl she is to have sucha talented and loving grandmother. Nice imagery and the rhyming was great. Nicely done.

How absolutely adorable.I love the fairy costume and the tennis shoes. She has to be such a delight. There's nothing more special gift from God than the gift of a child. This is an adorable poem. I have no children or grandchildren and I'm 66 so the odds are none are none are coming along. But I have two adorable little male Maltese puppies that would probably enjoy it. Delightful read. God loves you and I do too.

A very good goodnight verse kiwi'
The rhyming and the rhythm are simply
beautiful. I just love the repetitivity
of it all too. Such a singing and dancing
poem for children. Sorry it's worth a
sixer, but I ain't any left. Eric
