A powerfully written story/poem. Such emotion in your words. Great imagery. I could visualize every part as I read. The saddest part is that this happens daily, to many young people who cannot defend themselves or are too scared too. A great write! Good rhyming and flowed well. Good luck in the contest. Alex :)

This is so haunting and sad. I'm glad the abuse stopped but heartbroken it ever started in the first place.

You wrote a riveting poem. I felt like a fly on the wall observing the story unfold.

The description of sexual abuse that was imposed on the young child is skillfully introduced to the reader in a realistic drip-fed manner going over the years to her escape
Then the horror of being tracked down and abused again accumulating in the deserved revenge
Then the last line showing her own child was truly moving
This was a complete story in verse
I don't think I have seen better
