Visiting Kristen's grave for 30 years is a solid proof of the family's love for their first born. This little angel of yours must really be happy in heaven with your devotion to her as you consistently shower attention to her by visiting her grave every birthday and Christmas. Such a nice and warm story, good job, an excellent write.

Dear John,
I have no words to express the emotions you have stirred at the reading of your touching story, of Kristen, your dear wife, and yourself. What a blessing that you now have additional children and their offspring to fill your life with joy.
Love you, Carolyn

I'm back from my 48 hour whirlwind trip to Florida for Christmas to see my two sons and two grandchildren. Also behind me are the 80 hour work weeks of the past six weeks. Just going to sit back and relax with my coffee and FS.
Thank you Carolyn for reading and sharing my story. Our little angel has looked over us for many years and hopefully many years to come as she now has our grandchildren to watch for. Happy Holidays to you and your family. John

I am deeply moved by your story. Yours is a deep and abiding faith, and this story is testament to how much that faith governs your lives. Blessings to you and your family. May your Christmas be filled with all the peace and joy of the season.
I do not have any sixes left this week, but this is clear and concise writing, pace perfectly and with a powerful narrative voice. Exceptional! ***************

I know what it means to lose your first child, that memory stays with you always. I am very sorry for your loss and glad that you still remember to visit her grave and pay homage to her. Your article flowed very well and it was a good story to read.
Wish you a joyous and blessed Christmas,
Sylvia

What a powerful testimony of your faith in God. It is hard to understand why things happen, and only God's Grace can help us through it. Thanks for sharing Kristin's story and May God Bless you. BG

This is very touching and superbly written, John. I'm glad you had faith to see you through what must have been an unbearable time, but perhaps that early sacrifice paid the fee for your fulfilling life and healthy family going forward. Who can say why things happen, but we prove ourselves in how we deal with adversity and what we learn from living through it. For one thing, appreciation of what we do have... and it sounds like you have a wonderful family. Wish my own kid would hurry up with the grandchildren! :)

This is an extremely emotional story, and it saddened me. A loss of a child is absolutely terrible, and , frankly, I will never understand why it happens. My wishes for a Merry Christmas go out to you and yours, and your little angel.
