Mine is only forty-six years of bliss the actions are the same. Recently I bought her a new pressure cooker she wanted, a cat she wanted and a new couch she wanted and each one was her early Valentine gift. On Cupid's day she told everyone that she didn't get anything. So you wrote my life and not a few others I would guess. Job well done.

That's funny...it'll reach you to be early! I think you should tell this sad tale and at least get some sympathy out of the deal! Thanks for the chuckle...Dennis

That sounds like love to me. The woman is in love with you, but she just wants to keep you guessing, as any intelligent woman would do. You guys don't know when we keep you guessing you actually behave like decent folk. oops! I didn't mean to give away our womanly secrets, so disregard the previous sentence. Patricia. :-)

Is this you Dennis? I don't know if I should say, she's a fortunate and blessed woman to have you, and I'm sure you will agree with me! I love the vacuuming, I actually do the vacuuming, keeps the wolf from the door. I found this hilarious, the couple in the artwork look very serious! Well scribed bro, the happy expression on the ladies is all we need to see she's happy, well done, my friend, blessings, Roy.

Roy, you and I have a lot in common besides our union in Christ. If I don't vacuum, it doesn't get done. She does a lot of other things but vacuuming...not so much! I'll make a deal with you, I'll tell your wife how wonderful you are if you'll tell mine the same thing? LOL Thanks Roy...much love in Christ, Dennis

'Love Test', by Deniz22, is a warmhearted story that most of us, who have been or a married, can relate to. It's written in a simple language and the text used is appropriate for this particular story.
The husband, is the protagonist, because he is narrating the story, and its in the first person. This means that his wife is the antagonist, only because there are only two characters (or at least in this chapter of the story). She is the topic of the narrative, which means that we, the reader, see her from his point of view. He has effectively used conflict, crisis and resolution and taken us on a journey. Well done.

Sorry. I'm a third year student of the Bachelor of Creative Arts, Creative Writing at MIT (in New Zealand) so all the theory etc is still quite fresh in my mind. I'm writing a Children's Poetry book as my capstone project this year and am aware I need to apply these things. I hope you enjoyed by review even though it was a little different to your usual reviews.

A cut above the others for sure and yes I did enjoy and appreciate it. Hope your book goes well... Dennis

I love this. And oh my gosh, I so relate to the toenail in my hair. Your wife is probably a saint.
I was blessed to marry my best friend and laughter is a huge part of our life, on top of that, when we are stuck together, I'm on the hunt for an arms dealer to shoot him with a Bazooka.
Great job.

I really enjoyed this story! Your sense of humor kept me on my feet throughout the entire story.. loved all the little details you added.. the toenails was great.. and taking one out of her hair undetected.. funny! Certainly deserving of a six star rating.. thanks!

"A lot of this is true. She's a wonderful woman." ... now that makes me wonder what part is not true and why it is in there. But i assess this one as excellent anyway.

A trifle embellished...nothing major. Thanks for reading and your comments.
