Thanks, sweet. I am very happy to hear that. I had reservations about this style. But, I like to think outside the box, from time to time...
Thanks for the read & review!

Confusing to see all that white space at first. Some readers may not scroll down. Perhaps post your notes in italics at the start? Then a direction to keep scrolling?
The mention of crystal lore links well to the last line about imagination. Awesome New Age music. I traveled with you to the detective's office, the land of flying dragons, the wedding chapel, the castle, and Mummy's tomb. Notice I passed over the vamppire's hiss. LOL
An interesting picture that complements the poem and doesn't interfere with the reading.

Thank you Spit. As you know, I always value your opinion very highly!

Dean: you certainly could qualify for creating a new form of communications in general. This is not short of a TV Commercial at minimum..fantastic emotional delivery with the added dimensions of background photos and type overlay. It's really a "grabber"...you are a magician my friend!!

I don't know how you do it with your amazing graphics in the background and your terrifying poem written in couplets upon the background.

I love this Dean... I still have some of those types of books from when I was little - they must be over 30 years old!
How did you put it together? It's really effective....
Anyway, your poem;
I think it's brilliant, I love the rhymed couplets and I love the theme. Your imagination seems to know no bounds!
Thanks for sharing :) Kindest regards, Debra

Thanks Debra. I still have that old Children's Bible. I was reading it to my wife's 7 year old cousin, when my muse tapped me lightly on my shoulder, and said, "Hey, what if...? As frustrating as it was to create, I was happy for the challenge. Besides, I knew he wouldn't leave me alone until I finished it, LOL!

I read this over thrice - It is like an amazing opening page to a wonderful book. The flow and rhythm to the poem is set by the rhyming pattern. The new pictapoem format is stunning. A superb expression of your artistic and poetic talents. ...Stephanie

Thanks so much for giving this new format a chance, Stephanie. I had reservations about it, felt people might think that it was too over the top. I'm happy that, for the most part, I can say I was wrong. I am glad that you enjoyed it, though!
Thanks again...

VERY cool! I'm again left in awe of your skills, both as a poet and as a computer... techie? Don't know, but your inner world sounds like a scary yet fantastic place where men are men and the women are men, and the horses are men... just kidding. This poem really is great and I can easily relate. I imagine most people on here can relate. Well done!
