Excellent post my friend. Great detail that allowed me to get the feel from not only detectives but nurses. You separated the emotions well and made this work stand on its own.

No issues my end, great flow and great hook at the end. You have me wondering now too.

And yet another new character, the head nurse. You are coming up with fantastic female characters. I think that they out shine your men who in this chapter are more interested in the impression they might make eating Jana's scones. I had to laugh at your take on the cops and donuts scenario here.
And now we get a glimpse of the guy with the tattoo and he's hanging around the hospital. He'd better watch out for the nurse.
And who is the smelly guy in the elevator? He could just be passing through or he could be something more. He got my attention for sure.

I just wanted you to know what I was seeing. I didn't want you to lose Father Brian amongst all the women either. He's still strong but like you said, he needs to show himself a bit more in the next post.
