I f don't know who's cuter! The pooch or the girl giving a smooch. Your lighthearted poem put a smile on my face. And the artwork is precious. Made my day!

It is definitely clear to see that children can bring to people, and this came across well in your piece, Debi. Children can say really funny things as well, particularly when they're not sure of the meaning of what they're saying. A well written piece, I enjoyed reading it.

Anyone who does not fall immediately in love with this delicious photo has a heart the size of an under developed pea. There may not be a child anywhere in the world who looks exactly like the one in the illustration, but there should be. I cannot imagine God not deciding to create one who looks thus.

Yes, a child's kiss does work wonders for everybody. If it doesn't, then the problem is that person not the child's kiss. LOl I also believe in the healing powers of hugs. My boys used to kiss the dog when they were little too. Heck, why not? I had fun reading this poem. Thank you for sharing it with us.

This is an adorable poem. I child's kiss is magical. It really makes you feel so special. Children need to be hugged and kissed and to hear words of love from their parents. I like this picture. The child almost looks like she is trying to look like her dog and doing a pretty job of doing it.

Hi Beth, you are so right. Everything you say too is so true of ways for children to boost health even more. Most of them just have to be in my presence and I am feeling better.

This poem, A Child's Kiss, presented with five AABB-rhymed quatrains, allows that there are many positive results from hugging and kissing children and pets.

What a precious poem. And don't get me started on that adorable picture! I definitely believe tat there are heart benefits in a child's kiss. And dogs can lower blood pressure and stress levels within minutes of holding them. God knew what He was doing. Thanks for sharing

I think it should be "kids' emotions" - add apostrophe "s" to show possession
Also "it's" very strong and feels so mild - the apostrophe for "it is"
I'll add that animals have been shown to do the same thing, and here you've given us a sweet picture of both child and animal!
This is so sweet and I like lines like: it('s) very strong and feels so mild - this shows us that strength doesn't necessarily mean hard.
This one really flows, Deb. I love it!
I call you "Deb" occasionally; any problem with that, as you seem like a Deb more than a Debi to me, lol!
Lots of love all around on this one.
xoxo

OMGosh, I cannot believe that I forgot to do the apostrophes and I do know better, but I was doing some of my editing from my floating iPad in bed and I meant to put the finishing touches when I got up and had the big one with the keyboard attached. I would rather you catch it than anyone else, so thank you so much.
And you may call me Deb any time you want. It's kinda funny that you ask that because my best friend and my husband and my siblings call me Deb and no one else. So it is only right that my other sis would too. My sisters are 7, 8 and 9 years older than me, so it feels good to have one exactly right age now. LOL.. Dang, I had to ruin it by taking about age.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments for this poem. It is doing well and I appreciate the six stars so very much. Love ya lots and thanks again, sis.
Love, Deb.

Ah Debi, this is precious and warm my heart. I must say a kiss really does benefit the health and is a proven medical fact. I've seen people rally from near death and hold on a while because of a kiss. Beautifully written and illustrated in rhyming verse. Sending you my best today as always and Love and Blessings across the miles.
