What an AWESOME birthday greeting for Patty. I loved
reading your poem for her, Debi. First of all, the picture
was precious. You both looked so happy in each other's
company. To think you've been friends for 40 years was
special. Your rhymes worked perfectly, there was smooth
flow to your lines, and the imagery created was great. However
more important was the reason for your card. A true friendship
that has lasted through the years is something few experience.
Yes, God knew the tow of you needed each other and set that
path in motion,

Jim, you are always the greatest, and I have been meaning to ask you for some time now when your birthday is. Certain people touch us in our life, wherever it may be, virtual or home. Thanks Jim, and you are on my birthday calendar already as we speak. I am October 19th, the same as Pam Lonsdale. We call ourselves twins, because not only do we have the same day, we were born the same year. Thanks for letting me know Jim.

This poem shows how lucky a person can be to have such a close friend
for so long. It is wonderful how all generations of your families are close.
I like the funny twist at the end of the serious poem.
