'We can't appreciate the white if we don't see the black.' What a great philosophical line. That line alone makes this a six rater. A really brilliant poem with a great message. I would love to see this line emblazoned on every school classroom blackboard. Truly loved this.

This is well written and I think the theme and rhyme scheme are both solid. The poem explains and give insight into the writer and her motivations for the posts, reviews and general reasons for being on FanStory.

I've shared with my beloved church fellowship, that my dear friends on fanstory are closer to me that they are, the regular interaction we enjoy here, although virtual, is indeed, very rewarding, there is a mutual respect and tenderness for our shared experiences is really incredibly refreshing, honest, both good and bad, "confessing your faults to one another, so you can pray for one another and be healed," beautifully written dear Debi, blessings Roy

Your poem was heartfelt, Debi. I liked the use of
couplet rhymes. Each of them made a great thought
about you or others or feelings. Your words were well-
chosen and meaningful. In addition, they were straight
from your heart. You shared about your life in a personal
way, but also wishes others happiness and offered sound
advice for those times when others hurt individuals. I liked t
the line about being able to appreciate the white despite
experiencing the black. Your words reflected your positive
attitude even if some act negative towards you. Through it
all, your faith shone like a beacon guiding others to believe.

Love your poem; you write such deep-thinking poems. If only we could lean on each other and feel like they'll always be there for us. Family is such a great importance in our life. We each have had doubts and writing has made us stronger in not doubting ourselves. No one can ever take our ability of writing away from us, no matter how hard they try.

Love your poem; you write such deep-thinking poems. If only we could lean on each other and feel like they'll always be there for us. Family is such a great importance in our life. We each have had doubts and writing has made us stronger in not doubting ourselves. No one can ever take our ability of writing away from us, no matter how hard they try.
