Like your poem. I was wondering if you want the background of your words in color? Sometimes this happens to me accidently. It is difficult to remove.
I so agree with you that Karenina is the apple of her eye and others. We'll miss her for sure.

Hey dear friend. I absolutely hate those blocks around my font, but in the middle of the night while trying to do the whole post in dark red and white font, it showed the white in editing but not in my post. So I went to the box to the right of it and accidentally put them in the blocks and cannot get those dang things to disappear. Do you know what I can do to get rid of them?
And thanks my sweet friend for your kind words for K's poem.

Try using a different background color, white, perhaps so the background blends; or try using a different font. I have had this happen to me before, too.
-
I will do that until I figure it out. Thanks Sweetie! Love ya!
-
Does it look a little better now, I changed the color of the red, put her name in black, put a black frame around it, but couldn't get rid of the blocks but did take your advice and got to the closest white. (Lol, not worrying too much about punctuation here)
-
Better; I know it has something to do with the colors, too.

From your mouth, our collective mouths really, all the way to God's ears. With a resounding plea, "Please take care of our dearest treasure, Karenina and return her to us painless and care free." In the name of your dear son, Christ Jesus, Amen.

I don't know anyone who's more liked than Karen, so I applaud your choice of one of the women we simply must honour this month. This is a beautifully composed poem. Very fitting that you mention her, written brilliantly in heptametric stanzas and in monorhyme and aabb, well done, blessings Roy

Thank you for sharing this tribute to Karenia with us. Yes, she is a wonderful person and I, for one, will truly miss her sweet spirit. I struggled reading the font style, these old eyes didn't do it will.

Awe Barb, then maybe you can help me. I hate this kind of font style. I accidentally ended up with it when was just tryin to change my font color. But worked throughout the night to undo it and I just couldnʼt. I know that it is in the top right side of Advance editor, but something was screwed up. Do you know what might have done that? I normally donʼt have any trouble changing font color or undoing those horrible blocks. I do hate them. LOL.
And thanks hon for the kind words for Kareninaʼs poem and for her.

I have no clue. I'm sorry. I don't use advanced editor because it completely confuses me. I'm so sorry. Helen or Gypsy might be able to help. They seem to do amazing things on this site.

Ok thanks Barb, I appreciate it, I think I will try Jan first bacause I usually have a handle on it, but today was a bugger. Thank you so much Barb!

I wasn't able to get rid of those ugly blocks, so did some other changes to take your eyes off of them. Hope that looks better.

What has happened to Karenina? Nothing bad I hope. The poem is a great tribute but it makes it sounds like she is gone forever. She is not, right?
I like the use of "apple of our eye", it's personal.

Oh, well! What a wonderful poem to greet me this morning! Very kind and how I wish I was worthy... I've been here "forever" and simply need to focus on some other issues right now. How nice to know this FanStory family will thrive. You will all keep writing inspiring work, and be here should I be able to return! I'm truly honored, Debi...
Thanks from my heart--Karenina

My dear T or K, I think I forgot to add something to your poem and that was about how humble you are. I am the big mouth of us two, while you are so reserved and sweet. This is all about what an amazing woman you are and how loved by all. I am honored to call you one of my very dearest friends here and ask that you never be more than an email away, so you can vent with me, rant with me, lean on me and let me be there for you the way you have always been there for me. Remember we have been on the top of that cliff a few times, up that elevator to the top of the rooftop looking down, but haven't jumped yet because we always had each other there to talk the other one down. You are so special and all I ask is that you let me go with you to any of those high places in the future, so I can be there for you always.
-
See? See how special you are?
Man.
I'm one lucky woman!
-
With tears in my eyes and my heart, I mean every word.
-
And the miracle is...you really do!

Hi Debi, this poem just pulled on my heartstrings. Yes, indeed, Karenina is the apple of our eye. She is always upbeat and positive, and she never fails to make us smile. Your poem is heartfelt, and I could feel your love within. This is a beautiful tribute to Karenina. I'm sure that you have made her smile. Well done. Beautiful artwork. I love the heart-shaped leaves. Xo. M

This is a wonderful tribute to Karenina. She is, indeed, the apple of the eye of many, including me. Your rhythm and rhyme, as well as your choice of words, are excellently done here.

Hi,
I love it whenever anybody writes about Karenina because I like her very much.
I didn't know she was thinking of leaving though. I hope she's okay.
Thanks for your poem.
